Rutile Products

Rutile is used in the compounding of coatings for Mild and Alloy steel welding rods.  It provides arc stabilizing flux and forming material.  Balanced additions of Milled Rutile (RUFLUX® 61) help to control drying cracks in coatings.  It is also used as a speckling additive in ceramic glaze formulations, or as a natural stain in glaze formulations.
